Good evening everyone and welcome back to The Attis Arena for this Enterprise National League match.
A warm welcome is extended to supporters, players, directors and personnel of The Heed. We hope that it will be an entertaining game and that the Iron are celebrating a victory come the final whistle.
We hope you have had a wonderful Christmas and would like to wish you a very happy New Year.
Run With IT programme
Over the last few weeks our ‘Run With It’ pupils from Brigg Primary and The Grange Primary have been taking on the roles of nutritionists and chefs at The Attis Arena.
The young chefs learned how footballers eat to stay fast, strong and focused. In our teaching kitchen, they prepared balanced meals with the key nutrients a footballer needs: Vegetables for vitamins, Carbohydrates for energy, Protein for muscle power. They all did fantastically well.
The ‘Run With It’ programme at Scunthorpe United is delivered in partnership with The Iron Foundation and Study United and is supported by Quickline Communications
Dads Together
We had a busy and fun filled Dads Together group in December with visits from Santa and Scunthorpe Fire Station green watch Fire Fighters. The children enjoyed Sophie coming along from Positive Activities bringing karaoke, making biscuits and Christmas decorations. The children received sweets kindly donated by Asda as well. Thank you to all who took part.
The first group of 2026 will be this Saturday, the 3rd January before the Iron’s Sutton match.
We have two sessions available, 09:30-11:00 and 11:30-13:00. It’s free to attend and you don’t need to book. We look forward to seeing you there.
