Football Shop Maths Challenge!

Pupils from The Grange Primary School  stepped right into the action in the Scunthorpe United shop last session.

They compared the cost of kits and accessories, made smart budgeting choices, and even negotiated a few “special offers.” Watching them link maths to something they love brought out real confidence and curiosity.

The best part? Their excitement. Learners compared deals, budgeted for their favourite items and helped each other work through tricky amounts—all while chatting about their favourite merchandise.

Activities like this show students that maths isn’t just numbers on a page—it’s a skill they use every day. Proud of their teamwork, focus and confidence! 👏

The Grange Primary School are currently accessing a Run With It supported extended learning programme at The Attis Arena, delivered by staff from The Iron Foundation and Study United.
