Good afternoon everyone and welcome back to The Attis Arena for the third home game of this Enterprise National League campaign.

A warm welcome is extended to supporters, players, directors and personnel of the Stones. We hope that it will be an entertaining game and that the Iron are celebrating a victory come the final whistle.

Wellbeing Wednesdays

Towards the end of the summer holiday we held our first ever Wellbeing Wednesday sessions here at the study centre. Led by our colleague Jo Hills, the four sessions were designed to allow young people aged 7-16, and their parents, to discover ways to take care of their physical and emotional wellbeing. The free, fun and practical sessions included making a stress ball, a worry doll and starting a journal. We also learned calming breathing techniques and made motivational keyrings. We looked at the benefits of being grateful and positive affirmations. Included was a wellbeing walk around the Attis Arena and some time practicing yoga techniques.

Thankyou to everyone who attended, it was lovely to meet you all. We hope you have learnt some new skills and techniques in caring for your mental health and wellbeing 💚 We’re already planning more sessions in the future. Keep your eyes on the Study United social media for details.

All participants were entered into a draw to win a Wellbeing Hamper. Our winner, pictured here, was Cadence. Congratulations!
