A new era at Study Parks

During the summer holidays and continuing now as the autumn term is in full swing, exciting things have been happening down here at Glanford Park, or to give it its new name, the Sands Venue Stadium.

After almost 17 years at the stadium, supporting thousands of children, young people, schools and families, we are relocating to a dedicated teaching space on the ground floor. The plans for the new classroom are still under development, but once they are completed we will be able to provide a vibrant, exciting and stimulating environment for young people to learn, using the power of football to engage, enthuse and develop new skills.

It is unlikely that we will be in a position to deliver sessions in our new centre in the autumn term, however, from the start of the spring term we will be offering popular programmes like Supporter to Reporter and Scunthorpe United Reading Stars, together with some new ones that are currently under development. This is as well as any bespoke programmes for schools and academies.

We will be posting updates about the exciting transformation of our new centre over the coming months.
