Scunthorpe United Reading Stars - Outwood Academy Foxhills and Oasis Academy Parkwood

Our Scunthorpe United Reading Stars studio sessions have continued this week with pupils from Oasis Academy Parkwood and Outwood Academy Foxhills joining us in the Study Centre.

Once again, both classes started off with a ground tour of The Attis Arena, learning about the history of the club and the stadium. Back in the classroom, we talked about the importance of good questioning techniques in interviews. We discussed open and closed questions and how the 5W’s can help us get more information from our interviewees.

In preparation for interviewing some of the Iron squad, our pupils researched the current Scunthorpe United squad and began to work on some questions to ask them. Back at school, they’ll finish off those questions before returning to the Study Centre to interview some players in our green screen studio. We can’t wait!
