Scunthorpe United Reading Stars - Player Interviews

During the week running up to the final game of home game of the season, we were delighted to welcome four of the Iron’s players to Study United.

They had very kindly agreed to be interviewed by pupils from 5 of our local schools as part of this year’s Scunthorpe United Reading Stars programme.

On Tuesday, Jai Rowe and Mason O’Malley spoke to pupils from Leys Farm Junior School and West Woodside CofE Academy.

Due to the current Covid restrictions, all the interviews took place online. Our classroom was in use, so we took our studio streaming equipment up to one of the Executive Boxes here at the Sands Venue Stadium.

The following Thursday, Devarn Green and Ryan Loft joined us in our study centre to be questioned by pupils from Oasis Parkwood, Lincoln Gardens Primary and Grange Lane Juniors.

The pupils asked great questions and all of the players came up with some very entertaining answers. Our thanks go out to everyone involved here at Scunthorpe United and the players themselves for making these appearances possible.
