Good evening everyone and welcome back to The Attis Arena for this Enterprise National League match.
A warm welcome is extended to supporters, players, directors and personnel of the Blues. We hope that it will be an entertaining game and that the Iron are celebrating a victory come the final whistle.
Supporter 2 Reporter
Our Cortini Academy young reporters have now completed week 3 of their 5 week programme. They returned this week to practise their interviewing skills. The Iron’s very own James Moody took the hot seat and answered a flurry of questions about his career and role at Scunthorpe United. He was also able to give some top interviewing tip ready for our reporters to interview some Iron players in week 4. This was a brilliant experience for the pupils and we can’t wait to meet the players!
Nick Sharrat Draw Along
Earlier last week and working together with the North Lincolnshire Libraries Team, we had the pleasure of hosting writer and illustrator Nick Sharrat at the Baths Hall.
Nick has written and illustrated over 40 of his own books alongside illustrating for other famous writers. He illustrated the Tracey Beaker series of books by Jacqueline Wilson and many more including Julia Donaldson and Michael Rosen.
Nick entertained over 550 pupils and staff, from local schools, in a draw along where everyone got to have a go. The drawings completed by the pupils were fantastic and everyone had a great time. He then dashed over to Brigg to open the newly located children’s library. Thank you Nick for another amazing day.
